The Glenncrest Make a Difference House, Washington Parks and People, and Dreaming out Loud Inc. have partnered with youth and adult residents of the Glenncrest Community in an effort to create a community garden. Over 60 neighborhood residents of all ages took part in our first tree planting on April 13, 2013. Community meetings are held on Tuesdays between 7:00-9:00pm, and during planting seasons, community activities are on Saturdays between 9:00-11am.

In addition to meetings and activities, youth residents participate in community outreach; advertising the community garden, educating neighbors on gardening, and collecting compost.
