On November 12^th, 2011 Motherly Intercession Inc. hosted a fundraiser dinner at the New Creations Church in Flint, Michigan. The program, “Interceding for Children”, inspired by the theme: “How Does Incarceration Impact your life?”, honored ten noteworthy individuals and groups with an “Essential Piece” Award Among the honorees were Phelps Stokes President, Dr. Badi Foster, and National Homecomers Academy Director, Curtis Watkins. Foster and Watkins were not only recognized at the event but made a ABC 12 appearance to advertise the event.
